Commencing in July and lasting for approximately five (5) weeks, Crop Over is a Barbadian Festival Celebrating the end of the local sugar cane crop harvest. BRC is proud to be associated with Crop Over Festival Band Designer - Gwyneth Squires, A relationship that has existed for some eight years and has proven very successful. As Testimony to her Reputation for excellence, Ms. Squires is the holder of several awards for the 2003 festivals including: The Winning BRC sponsored King of the Band 2003

Part of Barbados's growing culture is the Community Independence Celebrations, which includes the Lighting of the Roundabouts from the start of November through the Christmas Season and into the New Year. At right is the 2003 BRC sponsored Jackson Roundabout bearing the Gwyneth Squires' reproduction of the Garden Fountain that is located in Bridgetown. 

The company's commitment to the development of local sports was demonstrated from inception when, in 1980, it adopted the BRC Cricket Club, formerly the Tom Adams Cavaliers. We are proud to state that this agreement has continued to the present time with additional sponsorship being extended to the BRC Welch Rovers Netball Team (below left) and the St. John Sonnets Football Team.

A further sponsorship of great significance is that of our educational institutions. The above right is a photo of  the Music Laboratory of the Lester Vaughn School that has benefited from the company's Schools Adoption.
